Sonia Weirich shares a yoga style called Viniyoga, which is for students of all levels. Sonia teaches group classes and she provides private Yoga Healing Sessions. Both are designed using safe sequencing plus adaptation to serve individual needs.
Breath is the fundamental link between body, mind, emotion, and spirit and it is emphasized in Viniyoga as the medium for all practice. Repetition and stay in a pose helps to build flexibility and strength as well as re-pattern bodily movement and habits (neuromuscular reintegration). The class ends with a guided meditation to calm and focus awareness.
Sonia is a 500 E-RYT yoga instructor and educator with 15yrs of experience. Sonia is training in a 4-year yoga therapy program (through 2020), she participates is in a renunciate study program with her non-dual Guru, and she also holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
These combined experiences provide the unique energy and perspective that Sonia brings to her classes and individual client sessions. Sonia meets individuals where they are and guides them to greater self-understanding and well-being.
